AZAH- Smelly Vet Hospital?

OK - So it is of course a vacuum and it is an important piece of equipment
in our practice.  This one is designed specifically for operating rooms,
Pharmacy and Semiconductor manufacturing clean rooms.  A true HEPA
filtration vacuum that keeps our hospital cleaner.  Our vacuum is part of
an institutional approach to facilities management we took for our
hospital.  We wanted to adopt and implement the high standards found in
other industries here at our Scottsdale, Carefree, Cave Creek veterinary
clinic location.  The results so far have proven to keep our hospital
cleaner.  This is better for pets, better for employees and we think you
will agree.  Come and take a tour of our facility for yourself......and
please make sure you let us know if the place smells! Next week we will discuss the great product featured in the above image.

Until next time

New Arizona Animal - Scottsdale Location Fine Tuning

Week 3 - Fine tuning.
We are using the equipment and I am amazed how the new modern technology
performs.  Everything in our hospital has to perform, has to have multiple
functions, has to be efficient and safe for the pet.  We have worked hard
to ID the best of Breed products over the last 2 years that fulfill those
requirements.  Yes the costs of buying the best equipment are high, but
were are able to save time and most important, space.  This hospital
operates as efficient as my previous facility that was 4 times the size.
This significant reduction in space requirements and hence overhead allow
us to provide modern, cutting edge medicine dentistry and surgery at a very
fair price.  To close, we have invested in quality while cutting expenses
that don't effect the quality of our service.  Last week we shared a
picture of one such piece of equipment that saves us time, space, money and
is best of breed in our industry.  It was a medical grade Oxygen
concentrator.
Its better than all the others being used in our industry in
the sense it produces adequate pressure (50PSI) which allows our anesthesia
machines to operate safe and optimally.  This makes it safer for the
patient.  It replaces a closet full of Oxygen tanks that over time saves
money and is good for the pet-owner.  Take a look at this next photo and
tell us what you see.  We will share the details with you next week.

Until then

New Vet Tech!

Week 2

Welcome back and thanks for reading.  We are making progress on all fronts
at our Veterinary Clinic located in Scottsdale Arizona.  New equipment, new
people, new pets arriving at our door.  We are fully operational
(Literally) having performed surgery and dentistry this week.  We have a
few remaining items on our list to complete that make life more convenient
and will share with you as we progress.  A big welcome goes out to our
newest team member - Alyssa, who has grabbed the bull by the horns and with
confidence has made several enhancements to our nursing/technical program.
One of the greatest things I have discovered about Alyssa is her broad
experience in handling animals.  Dogs, Cats, Birds, Pocket pets, Lizards,
Snakes, even goats!!!!  Wow!   Thanks Alyssa!  It is team members like this
that make the whole hospital better.  The sum of all the parts we have
assembled (Equipment, People and Partners) are better for pets.  We think
you will agree.  Come in and see for yourself.   On that note, I though it
might be a fun opportunity to start highlighting in our Blogpost a
photograph of a key piece of equipment that makes our place better or
different.  I hope our readers will respond with their guess as to what the
item is and why it is important.  Here is our first photo.  What do you
see?  We will talk about it next week.

Until then - Brett the Vet

Vaccine Value Days are here!

Welcome back.  Its another new day and new adventure here at Arizona Animal
Hospitals.  The Brett the Vet Blog or BTV Blog as we will probably refer to
going forward is alive and active.  It is another commitment we have made
for our readers to consistently generate fresh relevant content. Its not
always easy keeping up with this promise and nearly impossible for me if it
were not for such a great team we have here at AZAH supporting this
initiative.  A big thanks goes out to our Practice Manager who is an
incredible person and operations expert.  Without her organizational
process and skills I would be lost and like most blogs, we may fall off the
radar.  The well organized process creates routine.  Its a Rhythm we seek
that makes our day easier and more efficient.  That translates into value
passed down to our customers.  Value in the fact we can spend more time
educating and overall value in the services we provide. It is an overall
positive customer experience. One example of the promise we are making to
deliver quality and value to our customers is the following program.
Vaccine Value Days.  This means FREE Vaccines!  Yes, we will be offering
Free essential Vaccines for Cats and Dogs here at Arizona Animal Hospital.
This program is open to everybody and is available only on Tuesdays and
Thursdays.  The usual wellness exam fee does apply and optional vaccines
are not part of the offer.  Cats will receive Rabies and Feline Respiratory
Vaccines FREE and dogs will receive Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Lepto FREE
of charge.  This is an average savings of $48.00 per pet.  As far as our
vaccines go - They are first class.  We are using the latest and greatest
vaccine technology and won't sacrifice quality for lower cost to implement
our Vaccine Value Day program.  We hope you take advantage of the program
and feel free to share it will all your friends.
Thanks for reading and until next time.
